Bread and Butter Pudding

6/8 slices of White or Brown bread or a mix of the 2

Handful of Raisins or Sultanas

Butter

3 Eggs

Brown Sugar

1 Pint Milk

Preheat the oven to 160 or Gas 3

Butter the bread on both sides. Cut the buttered bread into 4 triangles.

Grease a baking dish. Put a layer of bread in the bottom and sprinkle over some raisins or sultanas then add another layer of bread. Repeat until all the bread has been used or the tin is full.

Pour the milk into a jug and break in the eggs. Beat the mixture to combine. Pour the milk and eggs over the bread. Press the bread down a little with your hands to force the milk to soak in. Sprinkle the top with Brown sugar. Bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
